A truly incredible find. This piece came from an extensive collection of high end proof coins. This is the exceedingly rare 1951 Matte Proof Crown in a stunning grade of PF64 Matte, one of only 12 graded at both NGC and PCGS. It really does not get much better than this. These coins have been somewhat under the radar for too long, however, people are now realising just how rare these pieces are with mintage said to be less than 10. These coins were struck in order for photographs to be taken without the coin reflecting light back at the camera. The disparity between mintage figure and 'graded' coins is as a result of coins being 'cracked out' and resubmitted in the hope of raising the grade.

Eye appeal, high grade and ultra rare. A coin that will be exceedingly hard to beat!
